Must-Try Food Spots in Thailand!

Makan-Makan Best in Bangkok: Food You Gotta Try! 😋😍

Visiting Thailand? Then you absolutely *must* dive into the awesome food scene! It's not just delicious and unique; Thai food is super affordable too. Check out these spots:

📍 Burnbusaba

Calling all crab and spicy Thai-style blood cockle lovers! If you're a fan like me, this place is a must-visit. They have a branch at Siam Paragon, but it gets packed. I recommend taking a Grab further out where it's more spacious and clean.

Address: 195, 19 ประดิพัทธ์ แขวง สามเสนใน เขตพญาไท, พญาไท, Bangkok 10400

📍 Thipsamai

Seriously, try to eat at the original branch instead of the ones in Siam or Iconsiam. The taste is just so much better! Their orange juice is also next level – not bitter at all!

Open from 5pm to midnight, and the queue is crazy long, so get there early!

Address: 313 315 Maha Chai Rd, Samran Rat, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200

📍 Kub Kao Kub Pla

This one's a familiar sight in the malls. The food is pretty good! I ate at the Siam Paragon branch and had to queue. If you want to save time, look for their other locations.

📍 Here Hai

Still raving about their epic crab fried rice! I've mentioned it before, just go and eat it. 10/10!

Opens at 9am and gets super crowded. You might have to wait 20-30 minutes to get in. Check their opening hours on Google before heading over.

Address: 112, 1 Ekkamai Rd, Khwaeng Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110

📍 Somtum Nua

This place is super cheap! Located in Siam Square walking street, it's perfect for a quick bite after shopping and exploring.

Address: 392, 12-14 Rama I Rd, Khwaeng Pathum Wan, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330

📍 Laylao

I saw reviews and decided to try it out. It was pretty good! They have some unique dishes worth trying.

Address: Phahon Yothin 7 Alley, Samsen Nai, Phaya Thai, Bangkok 10400

📍 Go-Ang PratuNam Chicken Rice

The chicken rice here is amazing! If you're tired of Thai food, this place is cheap and filling. Order the stir-fried vegetables like in the picture – sedap giler!

Address:

Branch 1: 960-962 Soi Phetchaburi 30, Makkasan, Bangkok, 10400, Thailand (Open 6am - 10pm)

Branch 2: Air-conditioned shop next to The Market and Big C

📍 Payak Boat Noodles near Victory Monument

While everyone else queues at the popular spot next door, I prefer this place. Lots of locals eat here too! The broth isn't too salty. They have different types of noodles to choose from.

Address: Ratchawithi 10 Alley, Thanon Phaya Thai, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand

📍 Snacking Time!

  • Try the coconut pancakes! Super yummy. The ones in Siam Square are better than the ones at Big C.
  • Pangcha: The Bingsu and milk tea are okay, not mind-blowing, but still good. Interesting and an 8/10.
  • After You: 10/10! Just go for the Honey Shibuya Toast. After all these years, it's still so good.
  • Chatramue Thai Milk Tea: The iconic brand is super delicious.
