Birthday Bash in Sydney: A Culinary Journey at Totti's Rozelle
Discovering a Hidden Gem in Australia's Harbour City
This year, I celebrated my birthday on August 15th in my favourite city, Sydney, Australia. My best friend of 12 years, who lives in Sydney, took me to Totti's Rozelle, a place she raved about as a must-try Sydney eatery.
While the Totti's bar in Sydney's downtown area is incredibly famous, opting for the Rozelle branch means you'll find it less crowded and easier to snag a reservation. Even so, when I visited, every table was buzzing with happy diners.
Our Delicious Spread
- Wood-fired bread
- Tomato and ricotta cheese
- Grilled snapper
- Crab pasta
- White wine and beer
Our total bill came to $143. Totti's is renowned for its wood-fired bread, and it truly lived up to the hype – wonderfully chewy and fluffy, so irresistible that I kept reaching for more, even when I was full. Paired with the fresh tomato and creamy ricotta, it tasted like a slice of authentic Italian pizza. The crab pasta was a delightful surprise, with a subtle kick that I'm sure would please any Malaysian palate. And the grilled snapper? So delicately flavoured, it made me crave a bowl of steamed white rice!
My dear friend also surprised me with a birthday cake and a special little celebration, which I was so touched by. The staff were incredibly friendly, making it the perfect spot for a memorable occasion. If you're in Sydney, Australia, and looking for a place with fantastic food and a great vibe, I highly recommend Totti's Rozelle!
