Chateau de Monte Cristo: A Gem Near Paris
We recently visited the Chateau de Monte Cristo, located near Saint-Germain-en-Laye, just outside Paris.
This magnificent chateau was built by Alexandre Dumas, the renowned French writer famous for his literary masterpiece, The Three Musketeers.
It was a weekend during the summer holidays, so as you can imagine, the place was buzzing with activity and quite a crowd.
