My four years of university life in Hualien, Taiwan, transformed it into my absolute favourite spot. It's a place I dream of calling home someday. I truly believe Hualien boasts the most stunning natural landscapes in all of Taiwan. Being surrounded by nature, waking up to the melodies of birdsong and the spectacle of a beautiful sunrise each day, is pure bliss. I've always cherished my morning jogs and yoga sessions here, especially at sunrise. The campus scenery is incredibly beautiful and deeply calming. Don't miss a stroll by the Lakeside for more campus charm.

This is where you'll witness the very first sunrise in Taiwan. The smooth, rounded pebbles found here are a beautiful result of the river's persistent erosion.
