Singapore, 13 June 2025 – The Singapore Tourism Board wants everyone to know the iconic Merlion statue at Merlion Park will be getting a good cleaning on 22 July 2025.
So, if you're planning a visit then, keep in mind the main Merlion will be sporting some scaffolding and won't be striking its usual pose for photos. But don't worry, you can still get your Merlion fix! The adorable Merlion cub is ready for its close-up and welcomes you to snap away!
We know the cleaning might be a bit of a hassle, and there might be some barricades around, but we appreciate your patience and understanding while we give our Merlion a little TLC!
