Osaka: 13 Awesome Things in 3 Days, Confirm Super Fun!
Guys, I just spent 3 days in Osaka and it felt like I lived a whole adventure story! This city is seriously "walk-until-your-legs-fall-off-but-still-want-more" level. If you're planning a trip to Osaka, here are some must-do experiences I had – hopefully, it'll save you from the overwhelming "where-do-I-even-begin" feeling I had!
1. Dotonbori at Night ✨
The river sparkling with lights, bustling streets, and a crazy amount of people. It's so beautiful it instantly turned me into a poet (almost!). Walking around felt like being in a music video!
2. Takoyaki – A Budding Romance 🐙
I'm usually picky with soft foods, but this stuff was a total game-changer. The rich, savory-sweet Japanese sauce – one bite and I was hooked!
3. Candy-Coated Strawberries at Strawberry Mania 🍓
Seriously addictive goodness. Biting into one is like biting into a sweet gem from paradise.
4. Walking Everywhere 🚶♀️
30,000 steps a day? No problem, lah! Osaka never sleeps, and neither did I! Every corner has something worth checking out.
5. Gachapon – A Haven (and a Trap) 🧸
From just 100-500 yen, one spin gets you the cutest little trinket. Perfect for anyone obsessed with tiny, adorable things like me.
6. Osaka Castle – Epic Vibes 🏯
For only 600 yen (around RM20), you can step back in time to the samurai era. Beautiful and educational about history at the same time.
7. Rooftop Cafe with Castle View + Amazing Matcha 🍵
Sitting up high, looking at the majestic castle, and sipping on matcha – felt like I was in a super romantic Japanese movie.
8. Collecting Free Stamps ✒️
Stamps are everywhere – train stations, museums, tourist spots. I bought a stamp book at Lawson for only RM8 and now it's more precious than my passport.
9. Lawson – Where Money Disappears Unnoticed 🛒
Thought I was just going in for water, but I walked out with a ton of snacks, sweets, and mini toys. Total lack of self-control once I step inside!
10. Making Your Own Keychain at Object Store 🔑
Choose a keychain base, pick out patches, and create a super personal, super cute souvenir. A creative and memorable experience.
11. Udon – First Time & Forever Remembered 🍜
Ogimachi Udon-ya Asuroh – rich broth, soft, fragrant noodles. A simple dish that blew my mind.
12. Exploring Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street 🛍️
The longest shopping street in Japan. Vintage finds, street food, souvenirs – it's got everything, and I wanted to buy it all!
13. Glico Man – Osaka's Living Icon 🏃♂️
You gotta check-in to prove you were really in Osaka. The energy from that sign is stronger than teh tarik!
Basically: Osaka is a city that'll make your legs tired and your heart full because you'll love it so much! Every nook and cranny has something interesting, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences. I'm definitely going back – 3 days wasn't enough to fully experience Osaka!
